health inspectors shut down Orange County restaurants

Health permits are suspended for  violation of major rules. Restaurants must remain closed until inspectors determine problems have been fixed.
  • Extra Mile at Chevron, 14082 Red Hill Ave., Tustin; insufficient hot water/plumbing in disrepair, permit downgraded to prepackaged foods only; closed Oct. 19.
  • Waba Grill, 25800 Jeronimo Road, Mission Viejo; cockroach infestation; closed Oct. 19, reopened Oct. 20.
  • TeaArias, 7184 Edinger Ave., Huntington Beach; cockroach infestation; closed Oct. 18.
  • El Toro Bravo, 745 W. 19th St., Costa Mesa; cockroach infestation; closed Oct. 18.
  • Rosas Pasteleria Panaderia, 2413 S. Fairview St., Santa Ana; rodent infestation; closed Oct. 18, reopened Oct. 19.
  • El Pollo Ranchero Restaurant, 1227 W. First St., Santa Ana; cockroach infestation; closed Oct. 18.
  • Pho K-tea, 18041 Magnolia St., Fountain Valley; rodent infestation; closed Oct. 18, reopened Oct. 19.

  • China Bowl Hawaiian BBQ, 8890 Valley View St., Buena Park; cockroach infestation; closed Oct. 13, reopened Oct. 16.
