Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has decided to make three changes to the Tottenham side that started the draw against the champion Real Madrid two weeks ago, with Kieran Trippier, Ben Davies and Dele Alli coming into the starting line-up to replace Serge Aurier, Moussa Sissoko and Fernando Llorente.
Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane has made just two alterations to the team that featured at the Bernabeu, with Keylor Navas and Raphael Varane making way for Kiko Casilla and Nacho.
These two teams played out a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu some weeks ago and there was little to separate them in a lively first half, until Alli steered in a Kieran Trippier cross.
England superstar Dele Alli, who made his MK Dons debut in the FA Cup first round almost five years ago to the day, doubled his side's lead just after the break with a deflected strike to leave the visitors stunned.
3' First effort is a tame one from Isco. He gets onto his left foot, 20 yards out, but Lloris is comfortably down to his right to collect.
27' GOAL! Tottenham 1-0 Real Madrid (Alli)
Tottenham have taken a well-deserved lead! Another brilliant cross-field pass sails over to the right-hand side of the Madrid box and picks out Trippier. The wing-back immediately sends another brilliant ball into the penalty area, where Alli beats both Nacho and Casilla to the ball before poking it into the back of the net from close range.
33' Ronaldo, at an angle on his left foot, forces a decent save out of Lloris as the ball hits the side-netting. Real asking plenty of questions.
35' Young Hakimi does well on the right to find Ronaldo with a low cut-back. Ronaldo, 12 yards out first time, hits it low, straight at Lloris. He'll be very, very grateful.
37' Eriksen plays a nice one-two with Alli. It's on Kane's left foot on the volley, at an angle 20 yards out, and his effort is picked up by Casilla.
42' Trippier piles into the area, cuts it back for Sissoko on the edge, but he produces another air-shot! The ball falls to Kane, in space on his right foot! But Ramos comes out to block it brilliantly!
44' Real's turn to get in-behind! It's Benzema at the byline, he cuts inside, his cross is blocked, and Sanchez just about clears in the six-yard box! Then Hakimi gets down the right, cuts it back for Benzema, but his first-time effort is saved by Lloris.
56' GOAL! Tottenham 2-0 Real Madrid (Alli)
Wembley goes wild! What a noise, what an occasion... Spurs are two up against the European champions. It's deflected, but it's absolutely dreadful from Real. One pass from Dier into Alli splits them open. Alli has Trippier to his right, he waits, Nacho commits early, and Alli has space to shoot. He does, it's on target, but it takes a horrible deflection off Ramos and wrong-foots Casilla!
65' GOAL! Tottenham 3-0 Real Madrid (Eriksen)
Wembley absolutely erupts again! This will go down as one of Spurs' greatest European nights.Alli wins it before the halfway line, and Spurs are 2 v 2. He finds Kane, who has Eriksen running free to his left. He finds him perfectly., and Eriksen turns it home left-footed as Casilla rushed out! Brilliant from start to finish.
79' Alli should have a hat-trick! Trippier has it on the right, picks out Alli in-between the two centre-halves, and it's a free header for Alli.He doesn't get nearly enough on it, and glances it wide! He was stretching slightly, but he's gutted with that.
80' GOAL! Tottenham 3-1 Real Madrid (Ronaldo).
Marcelo's cross inside the box hits the floor, bounces up and is flicked on by Asensio...It falls kindly to Ronaldo, he drills it low from eight yards, and it comes off Dier's boot and flies into the net past Lloris!.
